Job Summary
Position for Product Owner (remote)
Job Description
Translate Vision and Roadmap: Understand and translate the vision of the legal product into a prioritized product backlog with detailed user stories
User Story Development: Write well-formed user stories with clear goals and acceptance criteria, converting business and project requirements into actionable tasks
Sprint Management: Manage sprint allocations, daily stand-ups, and agile ceremonies, ensuring adherence to task prioritization and delivery of tasks
Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with Product Manager and Program Manager to manage ad hoc requests and protect the efficiency of legal team delivery
Project Lifecycle Management: Manage the delivery of legal projects from inception to deployment, ensuring business and technical requirements are met within agreed timelines
Agile Leadership: Ensure the Agile philosophy is followed, create an environment conducive to a self-managing and accountable legal team, and act as a line manager responsible for leave and performance management
Reporting and Communication: Provide regular and accurate progress updates, dashboards, and reports to the management team, while establishing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 3+ years as a Product Owner in an Agile environment, with 3-5 years of team and project management experience
Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, along with additional certifications such as Certified Product Owner and/or Scrum Master course
Skills: Excellent planning, prioritization, communication, and people skills, with strong managerial abilities to handle conflict and manage diverse personalities
